Commission Process 

Generally, my commission process is as follows: 

• You, the Client, and I (erikanyanko), the Artist, expressly agree on the artwork to be created. 

• I will discuss with you and ask questions to better understand the artwork you would like created.

• After receiving payment, I will begin work

Progress updates

• No color commissions: 2 updates, includes (1) rough sketch and (2) lineart.

• Flat color commissions: 3 updates, includes (1) rough sketch, (2) lineart, (3) color palettes

• Full color commissions: 4 updates, includes (1) rough sketch, (2) lineart, (3) color palettes, (4) flat color layout

• Feedback and major edits are allowed during the (1) sketch and (2) lineart periods Feedback on color and color change are allowed during the (3) color palettes and (4) flat color layout stages.

• Clients can request more updates.

• Once the lineart (and color palette) is approved, I will move on to the coloring and finalizing the commission piece. Only minor edits are allowed during this period.

Delivery 

• Final piece will be emailed to you, the client, as a digital file (png) of at least 300dpi, unless other file types are specified. As this is a digital art commission, no physical item will be delivered.

Payment 

100% of the total compensation for the artwork must be paid within 7 days after PayPal invoice is received. Price agreed upon at the beginning of the process is final. 

 

Image Rights 

• I, the Artist, may use Work in Artist's portfolio (including, but not limited to, any websites and/or social media that displays Artist's works). 

• When asked, you, the Client, must properly identify the Artist (erikanyanko) as the creator of Work.

• The Client does not have a proactive duty to display Artist's name together with Work.

• However, the Client may not seek to mislead others that Work was created by anyone other than Artist.

• The Client may not use Work for profit, and may not alter and/or edit Work and present it as their own.

• The Client may print Work for personal use only, but may not print for profit.

Refund policy 

Client may terminate this Agreement at any time by sending written notice thereof to Artist at erinyanko01@gmail.com. Upon such termination, Client and Artist agrees to the following:

(1) Partial Completion. If Artist has partially completed the Work, Client agrees to compensate Artist at fifty percent (50%) of the total compensation, and Artist will refund fifty percent (50%) of the total compensation. If this Agreement is terminated by Client after Partial Completion by Artist, Artist shall retain ownership of all rights of copyright and the original artwork, including but not limited to completed artwork, sketches, and comps.

● Lineart is considered as 50% (partial completion) for colored artwork commissions 

● Rough sketch is considered as 50% (partial completion) for black and white artwork commissions 

(2) Full Completion. If Artist has completed the finished artwork at the time of cancellation, Client agrees to compensate Artist in full, and Artist will not refund the total compensation.
